Speck is well-known for making protective covers for the Mac notebooks and is about to release protective and decorative cases for the Zune.
Amazon will be one of the resellers offering a tough skin for the Zune for $49 along with other canvas and leather covers for a similar price. Bill "Zuneguy" Wittress has a nice picture of the hard case on his blog.
